Born in Omaha, Nebraska, I come from a musical family. Both of my parents were trained musicians and all of my brothers and sisters are artists. Being a baby boomer I was completely blown away by The Beatles and Beatlemania. The music really opened doors for me and I followed the British wave through psychedlia to prog rock to punk and well beyond. Currently I play in several bands, one being my own. I would say that regardless of who I am playing with I always try to play deep, to go inside the music and let it play through me. It's such a great experience when it happens. To describe the music or why we play it, well, it's not the blues and it's not music designed for a party. I'd say the music encourages people to just listen and let the music tell a story, paint a picture, create a nice mood and maybe all of these at once. With that said, it's entirely possible to party to my music and you can hear the blues in my playing.Band/artist history
