Jim Murray's AntHill Society has been called an emerging musical dynasty. The facts seem to back this claim. Since January of 2004, their official web site has experienced in excess of 1,000 hits per month.
The Society membership has increased exponentially during that time. Radio stations in Europe and the US are giving airplay to their debut album, Low Life.
With the release of their second album, Short of the Blues, scheduled for December 1, 2005, the Society is fast becoming one of the hottest bands around.
Listen to what the industry has to say about them:
"Ant Hill Society is like Santana doing the 'Stray Cat Strut' with the depth and soul of Robin Trower. These Guys are truly ones to watch." Mat Matlack, Space 380 Music Promotion
"I'm actually suprised....I checked out your website. I heard one of the clips and it sounds great. I like your style of music. Definitely what we are looking for....Keep up the good work. You guys are very talented." Sandy Dorion, New York Music Festival
"This project is probably the single most important album that has ever come out of this studio" Wade Parker, ITG Studios
"A (friend) gave me your CD last week. I was blown away. I love the music." Jimmy Spacek, Recording Artist
"Anthill Society is going places. They are allot more than I expected." Kathlene Keen, Rosetta Management
Society promotors use the catch phrase: "AntHill Society is well-managed, well-funded, and well-rehearsed." Their live show is as entertaining to watch as it is to hear. Each member brings a valable persona to the overall stage show. The show moves along briskly and the songs keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
