Dear friends,
We hope you enjoy our first collection of original songs entitled Change of Heart.
In order for this to have ever come together, thats exactly what we each had to experience in our separate lives: being born again in Christ, and years later, brought together in the Worship Team/Band at Pomona First Baptist Church.
This 2-year project has been a labor of love, but required a balance of writing, recording, and mixing with family, work, and church. So for those who have been waiting for this, and those waiting for this to be over, thank you for your patience and support.
These 12 songs represent a variety of styles and tempos. Like the 12 disciples, we hope they will go out into the world to proclaim the Gospel, and the way Gods hand touches our lives. We pray there will be at least one song that will touch each person in some positive way, whether its believers, prodigals, or those still looking for the truth. This is what makes it all worth it.
In my earlier song-writing years, before I became a Christian, I once asked a very talented Christian musician/songwriter friend why he never wrote about anything besides God. His simple reply confused me at the time. But now, as I have been given that same inspiration in my life, it makes so much sense: "What else is there to sing about ?"
