Band/artist history
Since I was a teenager, I've been playing tapes & vinyl records of any music genre either at home and on local radio stations, where I used to work as a speaker. I made my first original songs with a little Casio keyboard and a tape recorder at 11, then I moved to DAWs a few years later (after Cakewalk, the epic Fast Tracker II, then Mad Tracker, Propellerhead Reason, and eventually Ableton Live). After a break of a few years, I returned to producing with Reason, also re-embracing Ableton Live - still keeping Reason as a VST3 plug-in adding an AI touch on some songs (either as a voice modulator, lyrics generator or sound integration). Styles, knowledge, skills and awareness have changed over the years, as it should be. In most cases, music production has encountered the need to express sensations and realizations or photograph the mental state more explicitly, on par with writing (the blog PostPlex is a kind of connected project) and photography.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
In the car, in the shower, and other places I can't remember.
Your musical influences
Everything influences everyone, in a positive or a negative way.
What equipment do you use?
Decent software, a mute keyboard, a reliable mic and a few catchy memes.
Anything else?
I'm Italian from the old italo-griko village called Soleto (Lecce / Salento / Puglia) and have lived in Brussels, Belgium, since 2014. I also spent a few years in England (London & Sheffield), Rome, and Milan.
