An uncommon brother living in a common world.

After being born in sin and shaped in iniquity in a world absent of moral and spiritual values BroTerry a.k.a Big Bones Jones is presently overcoming "the powers of darkness" to bring the light of the gospel to those with "itching" ears as well as to those with "ears to hear".

BroTerry was born Terry Jones in Toledo, Ohio a simple, down to earth, uncomplicated, yet, sophisticated indivdual. BroTerry is God fearing, mother loving, and sensitive but not sappy. You can say that BroTerry is the strong silent type. BroTerry believes that the mind is both the greatest weapon and the biggest battlefield that man has ever known or will know.

BroTerry believes that externals are just that - external, and its the internals, specifically the heart, that really matters. But we must not get that twisted either because as it has been said: "An internal sense of righteousness dwindles into an external concern for reputationâ? (A.R. Gurney, Jr.)

BroTerry believes that if two people live by the spirit of Christ they will be on one accord. And he believes that his music is an extension of the spirit of Christ in him.

BroTerry has also called Dallas, Texas and Birmingham, Alabama home along this journey called life. BroTerry believes that hard work avails much and nothing beats a lie but the truth. And through it all has learned that a set-back is nothing but a setup to be successful.

BroTerry is forgiving, understanding, non-judgemental, and sometimes overly transparent. He has been there, done that and has the healed scars to prove it.

BroTerry is simply an uncommon brother living in an all too common world, his best friends are his family and he feels that friends and family is nobody's business but friends and family. So, without a long dissertation on the meaning of friendship, BroTerry is always open to the possibilities of the opportunities that open up by opening up with someone who chooses to open up to him.

Music has always been BroTerry's passion. Specifically the art and science of recorded music. He has been a radio DJ, club DJ, mixer, re-mixer, producer, and artist since before the advent and during the metamorphasis of what has now become hip-hop.

BroTerry dosen't make much small talk - unless its about the Kingdom (but then again, thats not small talk). He would rather communicate through beats and lyrics than with normal conversation - less chance of mis-communication and manipulation - either you get it or you don't.

Just like lukewarm coffee, BroTerry does not like halfhearted people. His heart goes into everything he does - and if you allow youself to go there, you too can share in his passion, zeal and spirit through his music.

I do a little live drum playing occasionally. But my main thing is production. B.O.B. Bangin Out Beats.
