Over the past three years, MoaS have been distilling their unique influences into a powerful, unified sound; melancholic swells give way to passionate aggression, taking the listener to emotional heights and depths. . The band has just completed work on their forthcoming album, "Wish". With bed tracks recorded live off the floor at Chemical Sound in Toronto and enhanced by the sonic wizardry of the Atomic Cosmonaut, MoaS integrate driving beats and chunky guitars with atmospheric soundscapes and dynamic vocals. Evolving from where the lush debut album "Down Low" left off, Mind of a Squid's follow-up sees the band expanding upon their signature textured sound - more grooves and heavier riffs intertwine to produce songs of epic proportions.
