Gary Douglas Turner studied music theory, piano, electronic music composition, recording, synthesis and sound development at Dean College, Worcester State College and Clark University. Gary has been composing music and developing synthesizer sounds for over 36 years. Gary has collaborated with Scott Whipple in composing "Lizard In The Window", a music soundtrack for the Fusionworks Dance Company of Rhode Island, along with several other friends including Christoher Caouette, Christopher Cameron and Walter Kolosky.

Ethosphere, Music For Flying, is a collection of ambient, electronic, space music. Half of the compositions in this collection were composed on the edges of the Earth's atmosphere between Hartford, CT and West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale & Orlando FL. Others were composed on location in Providence, RI at Roger Williams Park, and at Bluff Point State Park in Groton, CT from March thru August 2001.
