trance and techno producer / dj from london uk. resident for affinity promotions. www.djkinetic.co.uk
DJ Kinetic Trance Producer UK At only twenty years of age, its hard to believe Kinetic (Jason) has been involved in the UK trance scene for over seven years now. From the humble beginnings of his first club set, aged fifteen, at Bristol club Brooklyn, he has appeared in the past few years at the pre-club sessions for Swansea Superclub Escape, where he has played alongside such names as Yoji Biomehanika, Lisa Lashes, Jeremy Healy, Matt Hardwick, Norman Jay, Big Al and Danny Slade, and is resident for London promotion Affinity, supporting the likes of Ed Real, Spencer Freeland, Little Gem, Trevor McClachlan, Dave Holmes, Steve Blake, Wid and Ben and Cally Gage. Having taken up production in summer 2005, in recent months Kinetics productions have been receiving strong support from some of the biggest names in the trance world. The current gem in the Kinetic discography, his remix of the Moby classic GO! can still be found at the top end of charts and playlists from across the globe alongside tracks from the likes of Ferry Corsten and Hemstock and Jennings. Supported on BBC Radio One and worldwide by Judge Jules, Finlands king of hard dance Proteus, Denmarks no.1 DJ Choose, trance legend Graham Gold, both Gatecrasher residents JFK and Scott Bond, producer of the moment Jan Loper and Escape and Judgement Sundays super-resident Big Al, its success has already been enormous. With a huge back-catalogue of over 18 productions and remixes in the mastering stages, including the new single I get a rush, Kinetic looks set to become one of the most prolific trance producers to emerge from the UK scene in recent years. Influenced over the years by the likes of Judge Jules, Tiesto, John 00 Fleming, Lisa Lashes, and more recently DJ Choose, its not surprising that Kinetics sets and productions range from emotive, progressive trance, right through to the harder edge of trance the one thing you can always expect however is an emotion overload. Currently in progress is the development of Jasons own label; Double Drop Records, which will be hitting the digital download shops in summer 2006, with 12 releases to follow. Also look out as plans are underway to launch a new night in London to showcase the very best the world has to offer in uplifting and tech trance.
