Three

Sort of grungy indie tune. First ever proper recording. Not quite finished yet.
We're a 5 piece rock/metal/experimental band based in the South East of England (and Leicester). www.freewebs.com/indra_band for more info
Band/artist history
The band began around March 2002, and played a few gigs together, to some success, but it was decided, mutually, that the band could not go on in its present state. This lead to band members leaving, first the bassist and secondly the front man. Now the remaining members had to find a new vocalist and bassist. Finding the vocalist was a fairly painless process, as they knew of a close friend, Aarron, who had been known to sing quite alot. The second challenge the band had was to find a bassist capable of both, becoming an integral part of the band, and able to deal with the more complicated songs the band aspired to perform. The search didnt last long as we soon found out that a friend, Ross Lee, had just begun learning bass. We couldn't see any other options to take so we decided to let him prove his own to us at a practice session. Didn't go too well! He had trouble playing along and even getting notes right, but at the end of it we decided to invite him back to the next practice session, because we could all see he had the heart and determination to be part of this band. He turned up next week having learned all of our songs, and to a good coherent standard, it was then we all knew we'd made the right choice. Ross began developing, and getting better at bass quicker than any of us had anticipated, so much so that he took us all over...now it was time for us to step up to the mark he was now performing at... We all decided to learn the more complicated material we all wanted to do, like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Metallica. Soon enough we had a catalogue of songs under our belts, including Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Stone Temple Pilots.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
At the moment we only play live, we're sorting out some recordings soon. Mainly pubs and clubs so far, but just recently Music on the Moor. I (Ross) personally love it, and I think I can safely speak for the rest of the band when I say it's the best thing ever. Not really any special moments except when people start singing along to our own stuff, I love that.
