Very good cover!
Very Good.
Thanks so much Tom! :)
Douglas....
This is a terrific cover of that great M&P song and very nicely recorded. Your daughter's soprano is lovely.
Your story sounds similar to mine. I played professionally (guitar) from my early teens for about fifteen years then got tired of it all and just quit and sold all my gear. (mistake!) After retirement about three years ago I took up the instrument again and realized immediately that I never should have stopped playing. I also discovered the world of home recording that didn't exist back in my playing days. What a revelation! I'm now having fun covering some of my favorite music and like you tried my hand at some composing.
I'm still trying to regain some lost technique and also flexing some singing "muscles" that I never used much except for backup harmony in my playing days. My older sister (who by the way is a world class soprano) has been giving me a few pointers but my vocal ability remains, shall we say, barely adequate. But, I'm having a ball anyway!!
Hello Douglas
Awesome job on "Norwegian Wood". Vocals are awesome. I always love the 12 string, gives such a full sound. Great playing.
Peace
