Future Soul Recording Artist brings a new voice to Neo-Soul, Acid Jazz, & Drum-n-Bass
TUERE (pronounced 2-wear-e) The uniqueness of her name alone speaks limitless volumes, but its her eclectic sound, undeniable musical talent and enticing sense of style that will mesmerize your mind, body and soul. Tuere, the newest wave in Neo-Soul and Acid Jazz, calls her derivative sound 'Future-Soul'. She's an independent artist who writes, arranges, produces, and performs her fresh new vibe combining amazing vocals with hi-tech Drum & Bass/Jungle beats, all layered on a bed of smooth jazz instrumentation. The outcome is a blend of funky rhythmic sounds with lush vocals that will surely captivate the listening ear. "I've always liked that in-your-ear closeness you get from cream of the crop jazz vocalists. I try to recreate that closeness on a canvas fused with jungle, jazz, and drum & bass, which are the three musical styles that really move me."
Tuere is determined to make an impact on the music scene on multiple levels. She delivers her original music with the conviction of one who knows and lyrically presents the truth. A musical mastermind in her own right who is genuinely passionate about her affinity for music, Tuere captures the essence of her talents in her recently released and smashing debut single entitled Filled. A wave of rave reviews from across the globe indicate the publics massive attraction to Filled. Besides releasing her well-received single, Filled, Tuere also test marketed and previously released another hot single entitled More Than Time on the widely popular website, garageband.com, which is a website regularly visited by music enthusiasts from all over the world. A mere two days after the release of More Than Time on garageband.com, the single quickly climbed the charts, and created an instant buzz and fan base for Tuere that she could only imagine. The reviews and awards Tuere received from garageband.com are no less than outstanding! Tuere holds both the #1 and #2 spots for the Best Vocals of All Time in the 600 plus song category of techno at garageband.com. Additionally, she holds the #1 spot for the Best Bass in Techno of All Time, Best Mood in Techno of All Time, and Best Chill-Out Track in Techno of All Time. The once new and unfamiliar listeners of Tueres music who reside as close as her hometown of Atlanta and as far away as Sweden and Germany now deem themselves true fans of Tueres hypnotic sound.
Prior to Tueres emerging popularity as a talented musical artist, she was destined for musical success. Instruments ranging from the violin to the piano were placed in her hands at the age of 3, and at the age of 8 she began songwriting. Whether she was directing the choir or performing live, Tuere always put her heart and soul into her craft. As a child of music, she was wise beyond her years, but did not know at that time that her solid musical knowledge and foundation would erupt into an unbelievably positive musical career and experience. Her first independently released single did not come to fruition as a result of being purposely planned, but rather as a result of simply integrating rhythm with technology one evening a few years ago. Ultimately, this experiment developed into a synchronized piece of work, and shortly thereafter is when this Boston-born artist seriously began focusing on her vision to write, produce and arrange her forthcoming debut CD entitled Tueraium, which is scheduled for release in September 2005. From sultry and silky smooth vocals to masterful melodic beats Tuere delivers! This highly anticipated debut CD includes numerous tracks displaying Tueres diverse musical talent. I view my debut CD as being a mosaic. I would like it to be a trip through a museum of audible art -- a little abstract, while also being a little impressionistic, surreal, classic, folk, cubist, sacred, and romantic. I hope my singles, as well as my debut CD expose my listeners to new and different styles of music not often heard. I strive for my music to ride the line between being profoundly thought provoking -- both lyrically and musically -- while creating a sense of spiritual tranquility.
Yes, Yes, and Yes
I was in a musical slumber for years, then my brother bought home SquarePushers 'Big Loda'. Journey to Needham woke me up and 'Port Rhombus' showed me where to shower.
But overall, I've been moved by Tommy Simms, Commissioned, The Clark Sisters, Les Nubians, Amel Larrieux, Sade, Julie Dexter, Faith Massive, LTJ Bukem, Blame, Conrad, Incognito, D'Influence, 4-Hero, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Eric Benet (pre Halle), and all my friends on GarageBand.com and MySpace.com
Anything I can get my hands on.
