Liquid Green Light

This Deep thumping track has a thick ambient breakdown, but the beats just kick your ass!
Saturn Theory is dedicated to the "live" music ethic in electronic music. Every track is recorded live as it's played with no post production editing. This provides for the organic feel of live performance in every track. The 2 members of Saturn Theory play their trax with no formal rehearsal. Simply understanding what works where in a song and playing off the cuff to one anothers whim's. This means every track has a spontaneous energy which conveys the mood or feeling of the artists better than most electronic music has traditionally been able to capture. The aim of this ethic is to attempt to bring to a recording the dynamic energy present in live electronic music performance. All songs are produced using live hardware sequencers, analog modeling synths and samplers and often improvised keyboard playing.
Band/artist history
The two principles in Saturn Theory have been together since the fall of 2000. Each made music within their scene separately for some time before meeting one another at the Burning Man Festival. They found they shared the same attitudes about the "recycled" and "sterile" sound of modern trance. Together they've developed a following and a sound that couples the hard edge of techno with the intricate textures of psychedelic trance, and dark industrial atmospheres.
