Uptight, formed by the fusion of the former drummer of Egghead, members of S.O.Y.A and current members of uptight is regularly rehearsing in the bunker of ijmuiden. We gave birth to a form of music which we prefer to call Bunker Metal . This style incorporates a lot of different influences and is hard to describe with one definition.
Our sound is a mix of many others, due to the variance in interests of our bandmembers. The songs contain hardcore,power metal, stonermetal and trashmetal mixed together. The songs are filled with energy and contain riffs and lyrics which are catchy, and hit you like a brick.
We perform to express our energy, and views with the public, in the hope that we can make a difference and get the crowd moving. We try play on stage as we would play on an album, no tricks, just us. As were constantly trying to improve our play, we usually end up with very diverse ideas, which are reflected in our songs.
Uptight is a group of four persons, which are:

Loco: Vocals
Lim: Guitar

Our influences include Mudvayne, Primus, Slayer, Otep, Sepultura, Pantera, Rage against the Machine, Death, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, Drowning Pool, System of a Down and Six Feet Under.Contact

Dear Uptight,
first off allow me to apologize for the tone of my first message to you. YOUARE RIGHT, inthe sense that you are free to write anything you may feel on my or anybody elses board.
I was close to the edge when I wrote that response as a close friend of mine had just went deeper into a coma, and I just snapped .I'm sorry for all the negativity in that message ,as it was uncalled for. We all have the right to like or dislike anyone we hear. My main genre is on the acoustic side but you guys experiment too ,don't you. Granted I don't have the voice for heavy metal, and I don't exactly rip or shred on the guitar, but I' d like to think I can try something new.Like I said to another metal friend of mine,the reason for my sucesses here is probably my acoustic friends saw it on my board ,tried it and apparently liked it. Once again ,that does'nt mean evryone is going to like it . I hope you'll accept my apology and I really do wish you best of luck.
