Don't Think Twice, It's Alright (Bob Dylan Cover)
You can find at least a couple dozen versions of this song by various artist. And each one you find will be way better than my version! But at least I have a version, and although I am rusty and slowish, I do not give a hoot because I love music.

FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.
When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.

Welcome! And thanks for checking out this site! Tom Eck is a singer/songwriter who lives in historic Williamsburg, Virginia with his wife of 17 years and four children. He writes and performs with a classic acoustic folk sound. During his career he has performed in a Christian Rock band named Fire Escape, a Bluegrass band named Copper Creek, and another named The Nordiques, and independently under his own personal recording label Atomeck Songs. He has been writing and performing music for over 20 years. He looks forward to venturing into this new avenue to promote his music, specifically his Jamestown 400th Anniversary Song. Now, let's meet Tom Eck...
Band/artist history
I have been an independent song writer and artist for the past 25 years. I played in a few different bands in my younger days, and that was a great experience, however I find I am more comfortable being a solo artist.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sometimes, but I've been busy raising a family for the past 16 years so haven't had as much opportunity as I did in my youth.
Your musical influences
I would have to say that some of my favorite artists have pretty distinct styles. I like music with meaning, music with a message. I definitely tend to have a folk element in my music but not all of my influences have been folk musicians. Some of my favorite artists are: Bruce Cockburn; U2; Tracy Chapman; Don McClain: Neil Young; Dan Folgelburg; Larry Norman; John Michael Talbet; and styles: Folk; Folk Rock; Classic Rock; Southern Rock; Christian Rock; etc.
What equipment do you use?
Audacity, Tascam Recorder, and various microphones
Anything else?
The song I am highlighting here has to do with the Jamestown, VA 400th Anniversary Celebration. It is a song I wrote over a year ago as I was considering how I, as a citizen of the Historic Triangle, could contribute to the event. In 2007 we will be celebrating the 400th anniversary of the first permanent English settlement in the United States, Jamestown, Virginia. It will be a huge, historical event and I want to offer my song as a theme song. Also, I have a great family & want to thank them for their support - my wife & manager, Heather; and my 4 great kids - Josiah, Jorden, Julianna, and Jacob.
