I think the only way to make music is to consider how it sounds to you first, and work from there. So really, you could call me pretentious. But then again, this isn't for you. I've only ever made music to get something out, that needed let out.
I started playing guitar arounbd 16, played in bands and did a music course. I've been making electronic music for about 4 years now. My tastes and attitudes have certainly developed over that time, and I feel it shows in the music.
I'd like to play live again if I got something going with someone else.
I played in a couple of rock bands, and the experience was second to none, and I'd love to get another band going, as I still play guitar and sing.
I enjoy a varied load of music, ranging around metallica, squarepusher, brian eno, slayer, biffy clyro, richie hawtin, a silver mt zion, aphex twin, mogwai, american head charge, system of a down, meshuggah, bjork, bogdan raczynski and plenty more. there's still time to write.
Some modern day basics. An iboook G4 with Reason 3, Absynth 2 and Ableton 3.
