Look for the Natives at the Sundance Film Festival 2004, January will bring snow and sounds to the Park City Streets as the Natives themselves appear to tour the streets in support of their "Music for Film" Project that has been in the works for sometime. Born out of the first induction of the Norwegian Natives of Dark Black Soul,
which crept upon the Blues Rock scene on the Wasatch front in 1989:
The Natives Of Obscurity officially came together in 1991 in Park City Utah.
There they crushed the boundries of modern rock music as it was known at that time.
After four solid years of touring the western mountian states they disband. Later the Core
and Founding members came together and as the legendary band Juniors Farm and
continued to tour extensivly for an additional forty months. After a five year sabbatical
from the music scene, and each other, the founding members of the Natives of Obscurity
are back to reclaim their moniker and a position as rock musics foremost boundry breaking musicians.
Further north now and clearly in the groove of the studio without the distraction and madness of touring,
the Natives of Obscurity are pushing the limits to find the answers in the music to the questions of life.
