Justin and Toby had always played in different bands but would frequently have long discussions about music and they quickly realized that they had a lot of the same tastes in music. so finally they decided to start a band. Toby and Justin couldn't think of a better bassist than Kevin Mcgowin who had always played in bands with Justin. Kevin adds a Style all of his own and it contributes greatly to the sound of this band. the last question was who would play drums? for a while Tim Swengros (who also had played in bands with McGowin and Justin for quite some time) filled the spot, but then tim had to make a great desiscion: The Band or College. Tim made the choice of College and is still supported so much by everyone in the band so quickly after that Toby asked Chris Harper (who played in bands with Toby for a while) to play drums. Chirs accepted and adds so much to the band. and that is how Third Times A Charm was created!
we play anywhere live! and of course we like playing it dosn't matter if it's for 5 people (which has happened) or if its for 50 we play our hearts our either way!
we have a huge number of influences. Blink 182, Brand New, New Found Glory, Rufio, Taking Back Sunday, Reel Big Fish, Five Iron Frenzy...i'll have to get some more soon...
