NIGHTMARE ON BOURBON STREET
Has been a force on the Bay Area Blues and R&B scene for going on 7 years. Playing a mix of New Orleans Rhythm & Blues (think: Lee Dorsey, Allen Toussaint, King Floyd), 60's-style R&B a la Wilson Pickett/ Otis Redding plus a host of traditional and original blues material. Combining tenor sax and guitar effectively they project a tight sound that suggests a bigger band than a four-piece. Nightmare on Bourbon Street's performance will please both people on the dance floor and music lovers in the audience.
The recent completion of their CD "Use A Little Voodoo" offers a fine selection of both originals and covers that all feature the trademark tight sound that Nightmare On Bourbon Street has made their own. And that's No BS.

Yes. All over the greater Bay Area; I love playing, and it's a special outlet to me
As far as my playing is concerned, my big idols are Amos Garrett, Cornell Dupree, Ry Cooder, Joe Pass, Motown, Stax-Volt stuff. Band and repertoire wise there's a lot of New Orleans R&B as well as older style jump blues, and soul material
