The Shadowen menace Operator 211 or Op 211 as he prefers to go by, hails from the Skull Kingdom in the Northland Now that I have your attention Op 211 was born and raised in the ghettos of Dayton, OH. At the early age of seven he already knew he had the gift to relay messages that gave visualization to his thoughts whether they were dark and frightening or happy and joyful. As Dayton grew wilder so did he and his lyrics began to reflect his wildness. His mother feared for the lives of 211 and his siblings, so she moved them from the hostile Dayton environment to a more stable one in the capital city of Columbus. It was in Columbus that Op 211 formed a kinship with Poet1, meeting through a mutual friend. 211 never stopped rapping, he went through many changes with groups, posses, cliques and even solo. 211 and Poet1 lost contact for years, until one day fate had arranged a reunion at a local eatery. The reconnection was made to set the stage, and foreshadow what the near future had in store. Poet1 had gotten back in to “poetry” but his style was so different that it was constantly being compared to rap, while working on his project he invited 211 to do a verse on the ever popular track Clique. The chemistry was there; Poet later had 211 do a verse on the remix of What, What. At that point they both knew that it was bigger than them, Poet extended 211 an offer to get in on the ground floor of his upstart PIM2021, and to be a key part of the crew known as Shadowen. Since then is now. History is being made, Shadowen is making it. Shadowen for life!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?Sometimes. Wherever. Sometimes. Yes, but I'm not talking about them.
