We're an acoustic-ish band with saxophone, 12 string acoustic, and a female lead vocal. Our goal is to continue to develop quality original songs and gig locally.
Our sound is somewhere between 10,000 maniacs, Dave Matthews, Cold Play, with female lead vocals, but everyone's influences are different and combine nicely.
Why this name? Ruby is the late grandmother of our singer. The 'Sun' part was chosen to move the name in a western direction, as prairie, dusk, tumbleweed, bollweevil didn't work as well. :Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live in the San Francisco Bay area.
