80 Proof is back people. It has been 3 years since any new releases and the newest tracks have been laid down. We still have no professional recording equipment so itis not CD quality, but around here we get it done with whatever we have. These are just some of the newest cuts, expect more to come intime to complete the album "Always Outnumbered" by 80 Proof. 80 Proof is now 20 years old and is has toned his skills, not at his prime yet but well on his way. Representing 2 Up 2 Down Virginia out of Front Royal with his very own 2 Raw Records, he is now working on other artists getting on the label, so expect some other artists to be on the page soon and colabs also.
Well these are very early works of mine from alot younger age when I was supposed to be doing homework but I was really writing rhymes. My rap music started when I was about 12 and continued till I was about 16. I had some good higlights like hooking up with locale artists and doing some good music with them. Since then I have not recorded any new music, which has been two years, but expect a new, bigger, better, fresher 80 Proof for 2006.
I play live if given the oppurtunity. Yes, I like it and there are no special moments
Rap Influences would be Jay-Z,Cash Money Crew, Tupac, 8ball and MJG, Outkast, Goodie Mob, and all that good shit.
For all my beats I used a PS2 to make them, some were made on a computer. To record my tracks I used a regular stereo which had a little mic thing on it and just played the beats from my PS2 and flowed over them and they recorded on to tape.
My older songs are cut short because I didn't have an official MP3 formatter so you'll have to deal with just half of the each one of the songs for now, sorry i'm a poor boy! Those first song were recorded when i was just 14 years old, my next releases came out when i was 17, and my newest at 20 years old.
