Have been in numerous bands over the years, in genres ranging from rock to folk to Celtic to "what the heck is that you're playing." My attention lately has been focussed on doing what I do best -- composing original instrumental music. I play guitar, bass, theremin, and various other things; but the instrument I play best is the sequencer. As you'll hear when you download this work.
The kinds of compositions I've been focussing on over the past two years don't lend themselves well to playing live. However, I've played live many times in the past, and got a deep feeling of joy when the connection is made, and it seems that it's the audience that is playing to themselves. I now get that same feeling when I complete a composition, and know it will connect in that same way over the internet or from a CD.
