Its just me and my six string. I'm a wannabe virtuoso, and trying to get rid of the wannabe part over the next few years.
I've only played for small groups of friends, and a few small parties. Playing live is just a different feel then sitting around practicing, because it easy going but you still have a lot of pressure on you. If you mess up, you dont just say 'fuck' and start over, you gotta catch up.
I like all sorts of stuff. Jaco Pastorius, Les Claypool, John Myung, Geddy Lee, Dave Mustaine, Billy Sheehan, Phil Lesh, Cliff Burton, Michael Romeo... great guys who influenced me to try a lot of new things.
Dean Edge Q-6: Best six tring I have played in my life.
Rogue fretless hunk of crap: Its sound is pretty bad, the wood is cheap and low quality, but for $120 it was well worth it.
Ampeg BA-210 combo w/ effects: The effects all sound really cheesy other than the chorus, but the amp itself is solid. Holds out agaisnt my friends Marshall half stack, so it gets the job done. Great tone out of it too. If Ampeg ever approached me to endorse thier products (I know, I'm dreaming) then I would.
Sorry to go all Jaco style but I am strapped for cash. Give me a fucking gig!
