These are a few of my own recordings - things I put together for my own amusement. I play melodeon (button accordion), with Vivant and GIGCB (look for them on this site for more recordings!). Hear you can hear me playing melodeon, and occasionally, piano and bouzouki.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I live in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, and can be found in many a pub session in the area. I play principally with Mark Prescott in Vivant, and with a large 12 piece ceilidh band, GIGCB, of which more later.
Your musical influences
Anything and everything, but acoustic traditional music is what I enjoy best. I particularly admire the music of Chris Wood, Andy Cutting, John Kirkpatrick, Tony Hall, Marc Perrone and many others.
What equipment do you use?
Castagnari melodeons mostly. I have a lovely old Hohner melodeon from the 1930's that gets used heavily too.
Anything else?
These music files are really just some of my experiments, which I share with you for interest - hope you like them! I don't play them live, or at least not in this form (I'd have to split myself into several people to do so!). You can listen to music that I do play live on these band pages and
