Themed indie rock 4 piece with a large sound and large experience live show. Concept record explores band's interest for truth, ironically twisted with fiction tales of abnormal psychological thrillers.
Band/artist history
Kyle quit lead guitar in the band that three of us were formerly in. His ideas were in the right direction and left the others wanting his ambition. After talking, they formed something completely new. With nothing to be serious about, we started talking to the quiet new 'grungy' kid with the cool maroon jacket. His style instantly made the band complete and we now have a full cheesy story to tell about how we got here. Just think of us as coming from nowhere.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, around the Kansas City area mostly. It's alright, but it can get worn out. We plan on moving in about a year.
Your musical influences
We all like Murder by Death and Modest Mouse and a few other common interests. Some others, shared by just some of us, Mates of State, Maroon 5, Piebald, Death Cab for Cutie, Rush, Johnny Cash, Limbeck, Anniversary, Cursive, and many others - of course
What equipment do you use?
Kyle - 1972 Fender Tele Custom, Fender Roc Pro stack, Roland Fantom X-8 Workstation and Sampler
David - 1960 Ludgwig kit, Evans heads, Iron Cobra kick pedal, DW Stands, Zildjian cymbals, Pro Mark sticks, Vic Firth brushes
Michael - Fender Stratocaster, Fender Jagstang, Fender Princeton 65 combo
Vincent - 90's Fender Mustang bass, 1975 Fender P-Bass, Standard Fender P-Bass, Ampeg SVP-Pro preamp, Ampeg Classic 8x10 cabinet, Peavey 18" combo (for stereo, power, and additional EQ), MicroKorg
