Audio Sculpting At Its Finest
Band/artist history
DJ Miasmic crashed landed on Earth back in 1990. Having no way of adjusting to the planet's atmosphere in his natural form, Miasmic inhabited the body of then teenager Patrick Yeck. As the years passed with no contact from the home world Miasmic longed for comfort and companionship. He soon discovered that music transported his mind back to his home world and this greatly eased his suffering and lonliness. He noticed that different styles of music made him remember different parts of his home world. He began to make music and mix various styles of music together as a means to remember different places on his home world at the same time. He learned that on this planet one who mixes such things is known as a "DJ" so he adopted the surname and from then on was known as DJ Miasmic. He continued to complile sound and styles from all corners of the planet and called these compilations "Audio Sculptures". Through these "sculptures" and "sound collages" it is his goal to share his world with yours.
