I was born in Pell City, Ala. in 1967 and grew up in a Christian home in Sylacauga, Ala. I was blessed with the ability to play music by ear and served as pianist for the Church of God of Prophecy in Sylacauga from 1981 to 1989. I married my wonderful wife Melinda in 1987 (one of the first songs of mine that I recorded was for her, and this tune can be heard ). We have two children, Jennifer and Trey. I earned a BEE from Auburn University in 1991 and an MSEE from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1993. My professional career as an Electronics Engineer, Operations Research Analyst, and Senior Technical Advisor has allowed us to experience life in Georgia, Oklahoma, and now Florida. I believe God has had his hand over my life every step of the way - even after I lost faith in Him around 1991. I found God again in 2000, and served as keyboardist and worship leader for the First Assembly of God of Panama City Beach up until April 2006, and around May 2006 became a keyboardist/vocalist for CrossRoads Community Church in Lynn Haven, Florida, where I served for about a year. I started writing songs for God in late December 2002, and have found this to be an extremely rewarding experience. When I see people getting into worship while singing one of my P&W tunes, I feel as if I've accomplished what God put me here to do. God alone knows what is in store for my music ministry, but I seek His will in my life and in my music, and trust that He has it all under control.

I LOVE "I am Lazarus." I hear it when I play the Christian Indie Couch25K Week 2 running/walking podcast. I like it so much that even though I am on week 5, I'll go back to week 2 podcast if I am doing a longer exercise period and find "I am Lazarus" and finish my cooldown with it. I was in Israel in October-November 2008, and I remember going to the traditional site of Lazarus' tomb. I can just picture everything so clearly when I hear your song. Thank you!
I love Lead Me On. The music is wonderful as well as the meaning. I just plunk out some piano and sing, but this is so professional! Could definitely stand to hear it on the radio over and over...
