Welcome to the music of Robb McCormick.

Taking his first piano lesson at the age of 4, Robb McCormick has been playing piano for over 24 years. Even though his main passion is Jazz, Blues and Gospel, Robb grew up studying mainly Classics, Broadway and Pop music. He had a clear talent for improvisation even at a very young age, recording his first solo piano studio compositions at the age of 12. His first performance was the 1st grade talent show where he played "The Rose" on piano. Since then he has played everything from Weddings and local clubs to national venues opening for artists such as B.B.King, Chicago, Sade, Jerry Garcia Band (reunion), John Cougar Melloncamp and others. He began teaching piano to neigborhood children at the age of 13 and since 1996 has worked full time teaching over 45 students in his Pickerington studio. Robb has performed and recorded with several bands over the last decade including The Shantee (folk/rock), Secret Soul (funk/soul), Allton & Friends (roots rock), Backstairs Quartet (jazz), Shady Grove (bluegrass), Teeny Tucker & Drivin' Wheel (blues), Sean Carney (blues), Raymond Powell (jazz/blues), Lemuria (rock), Uncle Sams Dream Machine (roots rock), Stonebyrd (jamband), Gene Walker (jazz/blues) and many more.

I have too much to list, Hammond c2, modified leslie 122 , wurly 200a, fender rhodes, baby grand piano and much more. I also use a Nord Electro 2 and Spectrasonics products, which I would endorse without question.
