Band/artist history
I've always had dreams of music in my head. I strive to make them come true and many of them have.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. My band and I played at the recent NUANCE Prog/Art Rock Festival in Toronto. I am scheduled to play at a Prog convention in Quebec City on May 31st. That will be a solo acoustic set.
Your musical influences
GenesisYes, Renaissance, Rush, Steve Hackett, Mike Oldfield, Al Stewart, Kate Bush, Strawbs, Jethro Tull, Supertramp, Moody Blues, Gordon Lightfoot, Rachmaninoff, Wagner, Ayn Rand
What equipment do you use?
Ovation acoustic guitar, Yamaha electric guitar, Yamaha bass guitar, Roland FP8 digital piano, various software synths. Recording gear: Macintosh G4, Cubase SX with Digi 001 audio interface, Rode and Audiotechnica microphones.
Anything else?
My goal in music is to communicate a sense of optimism in our world - to project the image of a hero, not only as a character to be viewed, but also as a part of each of us, something to be experienced - our integrity, honesty, intelligence, ambition, the best within us - our brightest dreams. - I try to create a musical picture of what could be and express the conviction that it is possible.
