I am a guitarist that likes to play in many styles including rock, metal, blues, jazz, ska, reggae, classical etc
I'm currently working alone but looking to form another band. In the early days I was mainly a metal player but recently I've become more evolved. I blend different styles and don't like to be pigeon holed in one category. My first band was called Lavatane and consisted of Carl Wright, Robin Warhurst, Gurjeet Kalair, Adam Butler and me. We had our moments and played the BBC live festival, this was after being noticed by a BBC scout named Doug at a former gig. Inevitably the band split, after this I went to college and got involved with other musicians. I learnt a great deal during this time and jammed in different bands almost everyday. The last live work I did was in a bar playing background jazz/chilled music for the people eating and drinking. In this set-up we had a bass player, sax player, guitarist and percussionist. I'd also like to give my friend Alan Gardiner a mention since he is now on soundclick, he has a great creative musical mind. He is under the name "fifties child", you can find him here
Have you performed in front of an audience?
At the moment I'm not playing live but I'm ready to get back out there again.
