Serenity is RainyD & Virus. Both individuals with very different musical taste and Serenity was formed and pulls on both styles of music.Band/artist history
The Serenity are two friends with the same love of music both listening and creating. Serenity was born when we discovered a mutual interest and decided to explore how we could make this work. We worked on a few tracks, liked the way it was going and made us a band. Since then we have been working on different material, still trying to keep every piece of music different and working on our forthcoming album.Have you performed in front of an audience?No live gigs, have been dedicated to writing and singing my own songs. So very much in a home studio with Virus (Jez) doing the production.
Your musical influences
Virus (Jez) would be everything from influential rock,metal and dnb bands I think the only common ground we have is we both like Chicane. I (Rainy) am more into pop/rnb so anyone who has a fantastic voice and a love of music. At the moment I'm listening to Beverley Knight as well as old classics, Michael Bolton, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross were all big influences growing up.What equipment do you use?
I personally use Cool edit for my vocals but we use a wide range of equiptment including Cubase.Anything else?
I'm still amazed at the positive attitudes and some of the great talents I have met on this musical journey, it still knocks me for six and I hope to continue doing so.
