After a hiatus of several years, underground cultband The Chemical Mothers are back! Now that DJ Irma is back from rehab for her Mr Proper addiction and has realised that in real life there are very few bald guys who will clean your floor for you, TCM have made a brand new start with a terrific new band member, MC Bertha. For those of you who are not familiar with TCM, we are a collective of funky housewives who had a few underground hits in the early 00's and are now making a spectacular comeback.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Is the Pope funky? No. Do we play live? We sure do! And I think everyone who was there on our farewell tour in Hombeek, Leest or Eppegem will agree we do it well.

Your musical influences

We used to be into electronics, but that's no longer hip. So we go with the flow, and are hip. hop, straight up gangsta style, with our new member Bertha Doggy Dogg (ex-Def Dames Dope).

What equipment do you use?

Most chemical mothers use Dash, but Katrien swears by Bonux. I don't get it.
