Visceral Stasis is an intelligent, dread band. Mixing the darkest elements of drum and bass, gabber, or any other genre that crosses its path - into a fearsome collage of hard science fiction and medical dystopia. Visceral Stasis beckons you to leave reality behind and vacation in a place of nightmare.
Band/artist history
Both Hearse and Invid have a lengthy history in producing electronic music. Going all the way back to four track tape recorders, drum machines and boom boxes, Casio SK5s to Ensoniq Mirages, then Ensoniq EPS's and pedals and SH 101s to the laptops and virtual synthesizers. Migrating from industrial, into hard techno, gabber and drum and bass - coming full circle and rediscovering their roots, Invid and Hearse have a unique influence and skill set that places them outside the bounds of the usual genres in music.
