Performer / Producer / Songwriter
John R. Jackson is an American, Texas country, contemporary, jazz singer-songwriter and musician known for his crossover work in these fields. From the Texas Country Band "Country Thunder" from 2000 through 2003, he performed extensively with James Pue, Miles Loughry and Darin Shelton. In 2004, he achieved commercial success after the release of his solo album, "Hardwood Floor". He has since released more albums, EPs and movie soundtracks. He currently has sold albums worldwide. In 2009, he collaborated and performed with singer and musician Ron Holden. In 2010 he's concentrated on studio work and his two latest released albums are entitled "Tropicanya" and "Balinese". These include the guitar work of Tony Marsh. Notable songs from Jackson's albums include "Sand Dance", "Tropicanya", "Coconut Grove" and "Thirsty".
John Robert Jackson brings something fresh to the table with his own style of music. He is currently a recording artist with AKA Records.
