I havent Played Live, well if you are talking about playing LIVE infront of friends, sure i have done that. But not infront of big crowd or something. I am still a lone Guitarist, i would need a band to get those roars out of the people.
I got lots of Influences, but there are 3 people that definitely made me pick up the guitar.
The guitarist, vocalist and chief songwriter for the band Nirvana.
Since my early childhood...I grew up listening to Nirvana and there was no doubt ever that Kurt Cobain was a very talented guitarist. People who heared his Music will say exactly the same thing. There was some unique attraction in his guitaring and people can relate to him.
Presently Lead guitarist of the band "Velvet Revolver" and the former Lead guitarist of the most famous Rock Band Guns N' Roses.
I am his fan since my early teens or should i say, ever since the guitar waves from his song "November Rain" reached my ears. SLASH was originally famous for being the Lead guitarist of the band "Guns N' Roses", which sadly doesnt exist anymore. Every guitar player recognizes Slash's talent. He's one of the best guitar players of all time.
SLASH use of WAH-WAH pedal really inspired me, Just the way that sound feels to your ears, even though its usage isn't much seen now days. Still, even now i use WAH-WAH pedals when playing guitar.
The guitarist and vocalist with UK band Pink Floyd, and has also released Solo material and collaborated with others. Following the departure of Roger Waters in the mid-eighties (the lead singer of Pink Floyd), Gilmour effectively assumed control of the band.
It wasn't till my late teens that i started listening to Pink Floyd. Ofcourse, i heared the songs like "Another Brick in the Wall" and "Comfortably Numb" in my early teens but i just didnt pay much attention. (maybe too much hooked in Guns N' Roses). It was only after i started playing Electric Guitar, that i realized the true talent of Mr. Gilmour. His guitar playing style is very melodic and his composings sound complete, down to every little details. A True defination of a Guitarist.
