Stilo Novo used to play live in Philly & it's suburbs, with some out of State tours, then progressed to studio recording & film scoring, & went through years in hiatus before reemergence into doing all genre all eras cover gigs & global festivals along with the surge of original productions.
My Influences are Ultravox, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Die Warsau, Marc Almond, Martin Fry, Virgin Prunes, NIN, Ministry, Joy Division/New Order, Bauhaus, Psychedelic Furs, Wire, Depeche Mode, Dee-Lite, Gary Numan, OMD, ODW, Sisters of Mercy, Alien Sex Fiend and so on.
Presently: Korg workstation/arranger keyboard with sequencer & a Yamaha arranger keyboard, plus I just added a Roland JD-Xi 37 & a Roland FA06 as well. Note: I only use Daws to tweek & master my midi sequences for the live accompaniment arrangements.
I also have been writing a lot of new songs with the help of my Behringer td-3 bassline & Alesis sr-18 drum & bass, & had expanded my sync on some songs with a Korg Volca2 sequencer sampler (which I no longer have) & 6cds+ of my own original loops library & sample sounds for the Volca Sampler. I added the Modal Electronics SKULPT SE Analog Synthesizer to my Gear for songs created after my 13 album surge in the beginning of 2022.
Vocals: Roland pro studio rack delay Now will be incorporating a Roland VT-4 Vocal Transformer to finish up EDM songs and maybe other fitting genres while giving me pro reverb & harmony backup vocals for live gigs while still seamlessly transitioning to other vocal FX with the luxury of having the Roland JD-Xi which also integrates the same types of vocal processing.
