Stilo Novo used to play live in Philly and it's suburbs, with some out of State tours, then progressed to studio recording and film scoring, and went through years in hiatus before reemergence into doing all genre all eras cover gigs in FL and surrounding regions.
My Influences are Ultravox, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Die Warsau, Marc Almond, Martin Fry, Virgin Prunes, NIN, Ministry, Joy Division/New Order, Bauhaus, Psychedelic Furs, Wire, Depeche Mode, Dee-Lite, Gary Numan, OMD, ODW, Sisters of Mercy, Alien Sex Fiend and so on. However my music project rarely reflects those influences of styles directly, since it's a different genre I am performing on the CD, but it does help to create an edge and uniqueness to my music. My last physically released CD (before the 2022 online surge of releases)
"THE AGGRESSION" had more of a Ministry/NIN type sound, more industrial then my previous 2 CD's.
Prior to 2021 I used sequencing programers on a former Korg synth that I had , midi programable Roland basslines and drum machines, then later virtual synths and samplers to make my beats, sounds, and rhythms then used mixing and loop programs to sync, mix, and place FX on them.
Presently: I use a different more recent Korg workstation/arranger keyboard with sequencer and a Yamaha arranger keyboard, plus I just added a Roland JD-Xi 37 for the third tier of my keyboard stand and will be adding the Roland FA06 as well. Note: I only use Daws to tweek and master my midi sequences for the live accompaniment arrangements.
I also have been writing a lot of new songs with the help of my Behringer td-3 bassline and
Alesis sr-18 drum and bass, and had expanded my sync on some songs with the Korg Volca2 sequencer sampler (which I no longer have) and my 6cds+ of my own original loops library and sample sounds for the Volca Sampler. I added the Modal Electronics SKULPT SE Analog Synthesizer to my Gear for songs created after my 13 album surge in the beginning of 2022.
Vocals: Roland pro studio rack delay Now will be incorporating a Roland VT-4 Vocal Transformer to finish up EDM songs and maybe other fitting genres while giving me pro reverb & harmony backup vocals for live gigs while still seamlessly transitioning to other vocal FX with the luxury of having the Roland JD-Xi which also integrates the same types of vocal processing.
MXL 990 Condenser Mic for studio recording and Shure sm58 and SM48 for live gigs
I'm back playing out (out of sheer boredom *L*)
Over 205 cover and 348+ original songs and counting this year alone (*originals Started Feb 2022,
