Unincorporated - ambient, acoustic sounds of love and romance
There is nothing I wouldn't do for you
Peak in sub-genre #87
Unincorporated calmly combines an array of ambience and catchy pop style antics to create music that has been described as meloncholy, sensative, hummable and unforgettable.
Band/artist history
Michael has been writing for several years while conjuring up a plan to unleash his messages of love and descency into a failing world. Unincorporated has been, for the most part, a one man show. The recent release of the full length album, "good hearts, sad hearts" has proven to be a huge success in the few weeks it has been available. This is only the beginning of an evolution, a legacy that will be created.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I love playing live. I think the live show is what makes it all come together as a whole.
Your musical influences
The Cure, Jeff Buckley, Little Tin Box, Keane, Peter Gabriel, Starflyer 59, Pink Floyd, Slowdive, Fine China, etc.
What equipment do you use?
A Fender acoustic, samplers, etc.
Anything else?
The lyrical direction of Unincorporated and the new full length album, good hearts, sad hearts is a focus on love, community, and relationship. With a firm belief that the message is just as important as the music; Unincorporated seeks to be a light, a voice, and a positive intellectual balance with hopes to bring about a sense of longing, meaning, thought, and action towards the bettering of ones self as the listener. Unincorporated was formed and brought about by Michael Schaar, a writer, musician, and advocate of genuine love, belonging, and community. Unincorporated provides medicine to a listening ear and an open heart
