Mending Fences

There are some things that a man and a woman just need to work out between themselves.
USED TO BE, THERE WAS JUST TAMMY, DOLLY, WAYLON AND WILLIE BUT NOW THERE'S A TAD BIT MORE TADD MOORE THE NEW FACE OF COUNTRY & WESTERN When Bobby and Annette Livingston first laid eyes on their son, Robert, they must have had dreams of his future. He showed a passion for baseball. He was a catcher for his high school team, and had a promising career in sports, but Robert had his eyes on something else. At an early age he had a remarkable talent for music. At the age of 12, his mother bought him his first guitar. Robert spent countless hours in his room practicing and just as I imagined, before long, he was writing his own songs. At the age of fifteen, I recorded one of his first songs, "Picture in my wallet". At that time, I told him that one day, I would record his first album. He would have to grow with his music and be patient. I waited for him to lose interest in his music and pursue his baseball career but that day never came. Robert's musical talent expanded and before I knew it, he was singing at the BLUEBIRD in Nashville, Tennessee. When the opportunity came for me to be involved with a recording studio, there was only one voice I wanted to record, Robert Livingston. I began choosing songs for the album of which Robert wrote three. The tracks were going down one after the other and everyone involved began to wonder if Robert's voice could match the tracks. I was confident, Robert was the least of my worries. I gave him a copy of the tracks, words to the songs and in two days he was ready to lay down his master vocals. The mixture of music was a little odd to say the least, but I told Robert that he had the capability of giving people something different. Together we decided it was time to present just a TADD MOORE
