Los Angeles based singer songwriter Heather Sullivan has used her diverse musical talents to stay afloat not only in an industry but also a city that boasts some of the toughest, most cut throat, competition there can possibly be for a person trying to break through as a musician. Not being bound to only one style of music is what has given Heather constant success. While some artists were busy trying to get themselves played on the radio or worse yet MTV. Heathers music has found repeated success along with a core fan base on daytime television. When some musicians talents have limited them to only getting work at certain types of clubs or venues, Heathers talents have earned her gigs at places ranging from the bars and night clubs of Los Angeles all the way to the American Embassy in Cairo, you can say she was Americas ambassador of song. Still while other musicians constantly pitched their home made demos to record labels hoping to get enough studio time to record their first album. Heather has recorded and had a hand in producing four albums of her original compositions

Oklahoma Native Heather Sullivan grew up as one of 8 children in a musical family. Her singer/songwriter/composer mother, five siblings and Heather performed at New York City's Carnegie Hall in a special Mothers Day concert in 2003. She started performing and writing songs at the age of 4 and has never slowed down.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, she moved to Los Angeles and began playing gigs at venerable venues such as the House of Blues and The Troubadour in Los Angeles and Joes Pub in New York.
Heathers voice and original songs have been featured on HBOs Sopranos, CBSs Thats Life and numerous national commercials. Her songs on films Include soundtracks for John John in the Sky starring Randy Travis and Special Delivery starring Penny Marshall.
Her songs continue to be among the favorites for fans of Daytime Television including General Hospital, Guiding Ligh and Passions.. She can also be heard on the compilation soundtrack Totally Adult, alongside tracks by Linda Rondstadt and Shawn Mullins.
Heather has traveled all over the world with her music. In 2001 she performed in Cairo for the American Embassy and has just returned from shows in Amsterdam and London. Heather has recently released her fourth album titled Butterfly, co-written by her longtime partner & friend, Emmy award-wining producer Ron Alan Cohen. They have 3 other albums to their credit, Bound, Sturdy & Mermaid Out of Water, which is currently in Reprint.
Recently I have not been performing in LA. However, as part of my mother's band I've played at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and The Oak Room in New York. With my own players I've performed at Danny's Skylight Room, The Oak Rome and Joe's Pub in New York. In LA I've played at the House of Blues and the Trubador. Additionally I've played all over the world including the American Embassy in Cairo (Sept 11th 2001).
I love playing live and plan to start performing more.
