Band/artist history
"Beautiful strumming of chords blended with melancholic vocals, keyboard, bass, drums, and a breathtaking melody"; thus is the essence of Expressive Alliance. The heartfelt lyrics and vocals of François Graham offer a realistic view of life, unveiling the dramatic events that happen to each one of us in our every day life. The musical style finds its home in soft/alternative British rock; Expressive Alliance's style is unique and has its own feel: sad, melancholic.... expressive by all means. Expressive Alliance combines creativity and originality to create catchy, unforgettable tunes. François, the singer/songwriter of Expressive Alliance has shown exceptional talent throughout his many years of guitar and piano playing. He has performed small concerts in the Washington DC metropolitan area and has won several awards for his piano performances. He is currently an 18 year old student at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Recent additions to the band have had an incredible impact on the music style of Expressive Alliance. Normans chiming guitar and lead fills give out an extraordinary live performance. James provides the solid deep sound that defines the band.
