I'll do this soon.
I love playing live and do it whenever and wherever. Sometimes, if I'm promoting a gig, I'll just hit the streets and rap for people. I've had long rap sessions in gents toilets, kebab houses, all over the place. It's best when you hook up with other rappers and you all do a little freestyle show. People love it, it's fun, a good way to meet people and other rappers, and it's good publicity if you're after it.
I like playing live with live musicians but that can be a ball ache to set up. I've gigged a massive amount in Newcastle Upon Tyne, a bit in Bradford, West Yorkshire, couple times in Leeds, and once in London.
Every performance moment is a special moment, but when you pack out a place, and the audience vibes off what you're doing, and you sell out the CDs you brought with you, that's extra special. Love performing though.
I'll do this soon too.
I use Cubase V5, on a PC Pentium 4 3.0Ghz 1Gig DDR400 Ram, high speed SATA Drives and a SoundBlaster Audigy ZX Pro. I was using a Sennhiesser K6 mic but now I've got a Rhode NT1. For monitoring I use a pair of Tannoy Reveals Active. I have a keyboard but it's nothing special. I'm hoping to get some new pieces of kit really soon.
