Band/artist history
Started in August 2004 and now the vision of it is to just make great quality hip hop with a great message and no message is greater than speaking of Christ and his goodness. While also dealing with real life aspects and how things are faced, what's going to be different with this project is it will speak of problems but it will tell the solution... Jesus! Hip Hop lacks originality nowadays and everyone is trying to do the same things and sound the same with the same repetive lyrics... there needs to be something new! Hip Hop in its self is not bad it's name has been defamed through a lot of the secular heads that do what they do with it but back in the 70's and early 80's hip hop was just feel good music and people freestyling and just living their life. Then in the late 80s with the conception of Ice T and cats like NWA hip hop began to be recognized and a darker form. But even before coming over to American in the 70-80 era Hip Hop's form was and is still prominent in the African cultures and Jamaican cultures. Believe it or not even during the time of King David a early form of Spoken Word Hip Hop was used in praise to God. But because Egyptian, Israel, African, and Asian poetry wasn't written in exactly a rhyming formation a lot of people don't recognize it or notice that. So we seek to place that knowlegde back into the culture of hip hop and the world and just let people know of the glory of God in a way that they can relate to and understand without comprimising our standing and our faith. If you can watch All about the Benjamins and movies like Barbershop there is nothing wrong with listening to this here! At least it's glorifying the LORD! ;-)
