Dropping a quick sixteen over a hacienda style track for her friend and producer, Mark Boogie Brown, Harli's snippet was embraced and sung on the streets of Crown Heights Brooklyn. Buckshot Shorty, who was at the time finishing up his BDI Thug album, heard the track and wanted to expand the sixteen into a full song. As a favor to her producer, Harli P&L agreed to extend the song and it appeared as "My Bitches and My Niggaz" on Buckshot Shorty's album entitled BDI Thug in 2000. Harli was just getting her feet wet.
We haven't played live anywhere yet. We should perform shortly at Coney Island and then its on from there!
When asked what influenced her to get into the game she had this to say, "Truth to be told, I started writing because some of the music, which was out around then (94-96'), was trash to me. I was constantly criticizing people and my friends were sick of it. So they'd ask, "Well? Can you do better?" and I wrote this song titled, "The Best Pussy" as a joke, and to show that I could.
