Hi there. As you can probably tell, this is a page about the "band" which calls itself "Unknown Mushrooms."
After much whining and kvetching and sluggishness four friends in San Diego decided to form a band because it sounded like a fun idea. The band is still very new and is still struggling to get on its feet.
We will be playing live soon in San Diego.
Unknown Mushrooms is heavily influenced by the funny-ness of artists like Tenacious D and Tom Lehrer and the punk rock music of The Dead Kennedys and Black Flag with a dash of folk thrown in for good measure every once in a while. Other influences include Nirvana, Against Me!, Oingo Boingo and The Pixies.
