Kill Filthy is an innovative funk band laced with hip-hop rhythms and introspective lyrics. Consisting of four core members; veteran emcee Filthy Rich on vocals, turntablist Dr Sketch, drummer Jason Lewis, and Shane Law on bass. Together they create a forum comprised of raw, live energy, and lyrical reflections of the human condition.
Kill Filthy has been performing with a live band tentivitly through out the past year. Their resume' consists of numerous popular venues and artists. Between candid vocals and cadent rythms Kill Filthy's goal is to reach out to a new audience with their unique sound. Unable to be classified in a typical genre, their music provides a much needed alternative to mainstream music, while remaining palatable across the musical scape.
Emcee Filthy Rich uniquely flows animated lyrics saturated with truths that are reflective of todays social climate. Dr Sketch orchestrates a collision of turntablism and stage presence that keeps the crowd on their feet.
Kill Filthy's live musicians add a fresh rock and roll flavor that goes against the grain of stereotypical hip-hop music.
