The Z-RokFren-Z is an experimental jazz band with a very unqiue sound. Two men make up this outfit and are responsible for all of the music. These 2 combine elements of all music in a jazz fusion style that is unlike any other.Band/artist history
The Z-RokFren-Z started up in the early millenium when two artists who also dabled in music decided to spend every teusday night together smoking ridiculous amounts of pot and creating bizarre and obscure music, which is very close to their hearts. In less than two months the dusted duo had pretty much completed an entire lp worth of material with only one song that included vocals, well, there is another song with some dude rapping in the streets but he got shot in a drive-by half way through his rhyme. Other than that the only other singing was mere sounds and vocalizations. Well before you could pack another bowl the frenzy smashed out another lp with a more friendlier sound and a much cleaner recording. This time there was absolutely no singing on any song and the vocalization was kept to a minimal, but once again they had outdone themselves. To describe the sound of the music these two mad men come up with is not simple. Sure, there are elements of latin music, funk, rock, techno, rap, jazz, psychadelia, and lord knows what else, but they also combine strangeness like animals and machinery, not to mention songs recorded in the middle of busy downtown districts. One can only imagine what they will come out with next, but for now the decision is yours to make, listen to the music, feel the music, love the music, and if your REALLY loving the music, then buy the music!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?The Z-RokFren-Z is strictly a studio project, we donot play live shows or tour.
