Elixer formed in 1998 with the purpose of creating music that stood out among the rest (a jewel in the rough, if you will). Some of the main influences of the band are Metallica, Slayer, and Black Sabbath. Sculpted by the influences of these and other legendary bands Elixer has developed a hard hitting sound of its own that draws you in and wont let you go. Elixer has recorded various demo albums along with a single (Feelings in Me). The band donated the proceeds from Feelings in Me to the local American Red Cross after the 9-11 tragedy. Over the years that Elixer has been together, we have polished our style and have written a prolific collection of songs (50+). With Ts powerful lyrics, Jasons in your face solos, Shanes driving rhythm, and Dicks powerful beating of the skins, this band deserves to be heard.
