The Piedmont College Chamber Singers is the primary touring ensemble for the school. Based out of Demorest, GA, this choir is a select 30-40 member ensemble that performs a wide variety of literature from the Renaissance period to works of the 21st century. Known as a choral group that sings with great precision, the Chamber Singers are also noted for their performance of ethnic choral music from Eastern Europe, Jamaica, and South Africa; contemporary choral music; and American folksongs and spirituals. The Chamber Singers is the touring choir of the college, and has performed concerts all across the US and Canada. Admission to the Chamber Singers is by audition only. The director of the ensemble is Dr. C. Wallace Hinson.
