Electronica/rock band from Los Angeles, CA. We're influenced by bands like Primal Scream, Zero 7, and Led Zeppelin.
It started out with a bad audition with my former band. The singer just wasn't cutting it, and I can see that my band wasn't into her either. She mentioned at that time that she's currently working on an electronica project, and that she liked one of our songs. I told her that she's welcome to do an electronica version of it if she's interested. We ended up working together full time because our respective bands broke up. I switched from hard rock to electronica (with rock overtones) after hearing the music from Kill Bill Vol. 1. Never looked back since...
We will be playing live soon. We're still in the band formation stage (any bass, drums, keys out there?).
We are influenced by Primal Scream, Zero 7, and Led Zeppelin. We like grooves--happy, dark, deep, or somewhere in between.
The guitars are real, everything else is soft synths--programs such as Native Instruments for the B4 organ, Edirol for the strings, and Velocity for the beats. Some of the beats were programmed with a Roland by a producer. We also use loops in conjunction with our programmed beats.
